Inspired from a news special covering the life of a homeless person, on how she and others like her survive on the streets. The follow up story a year later, revealed that the bag lady, "Alice", had succumbed to the perils and rigors of the outdoors, of alcohol, hunger and loneliness. This song is a dedication to the memory of Alice and all the others like her, wherever they may be! Won't you lend a helping hand?
